Mister Romance (Masters of Love, #1) by Leisa Rayven

Hi readers,

Today I finished the Mister Romance by Leisa Rayven and I’m so excited to talk about this book! I really liked this book. I was hit with a rush while reading it, I just wanted to read more and more. It was such an addiction that I woke up earlier just to read one more chapter before going to work.

‘Max Riley is the man of your dreams. Or at least he will be, for a price. As his alter-ego Mister Romance, Max is a drop-dead gorgeous escort who makes romantic fantasies come to life. No sex, just swoon-worthy dates to die for, and the cream of New York’s socialites can’t get enough.  Whether they want a dominating billionaire, bad boy with a heart of gold, hot geek, sexy biker, or best friend who loves them from afar, Max can make it all happen, but he’s careful to keep his real identity a secret.

Enter investigative journalist Eden Tate. Having caught wind of the urban legend of Mister Romance from a lovestruck client, Eden is determined to publish a scathing expose on Max and his ability to swindle lonely society women out of their fortunes.

Desperate to protect his anonymity and his clients, Max challenges Eden to give him three dates. If she doesn’t fall in love with him, she can run her story with his blessing. If she succumbs to his charms, the story dies.

Cynical Eden has no doubt she can resist his fake romance personas, but when the real Max admits he’s falling for her, she has to decide if the professional liar is telling the truth, or if the passionate man with the mysterious past is just one more character designed to con her out of her career-making story’.

You will laugh, maybe cry more to the end, but I think you’ll love this book.

Eden Tate is a investigative journalist who needs a good story or she’ll be fired. She heard a story about a man, called Mister Romance, that’s every woman’s wet dream and decides that it’s the perfect story to propel her to journalism greatness.

She’s a girl that doesn’t believe in love, and overall think that love is for losers. She’s confidant and loves to have one night stands.

Max Riley, aka, Mister Romance is an enigma. He makes women feel good with a boost of confidence and a romance fantasy come to life. Nobody knows anything about the ‘real’ Max. He definitely has his secrets.

And so has Eden, but she needs a story and Max needs to convince Eden that he’s not what she thinks he is. So he decides to give her three dates, and if after these dates she fall in love with him, then she can’t publish her story!

In the beginning when she meets Kieran, I never connected the dots, and for a while I thought this book would be a love triangle (and I hate love triangles) but then it clicked!

I melted while reading this book, and not because of the sexy scenes, because everything was written with such a good taste, the plot is really captivating and funny and has everything to swap away any pair of feet. It’s brilliant and a true fantasy! I feel ashamed that I only discovered this book this year and I will definitely read the continuation (Professor Feelgood).
